The Summer Isles from Achiltibuie

A crofting whitehouse by the village of Achiltibuie set against the Summer Isles archipelago, which lies in the mouth of Loch Broom off the Coigach Peninsula in the North-West Highlands of Scotland. The place name Achilitibuie comes from Gaelic for “field of the yellow-haired boy”. The village is surrounded by some of the most stunning mountain and coastal scenery in Scotland.
